We usually stop in Milk River when heading to Arizona, hotel was full and we couldn’t get a room. Best thing that ever happened. I love Best Western hotel because they are always clean, friendly, and reasonable prices. The front desk service was top notch here in Shelby!
Place looked pretty great, was clean and mostly quiet. Beds were a bit worn and you can hear a metal grinding sound which is the trains. The sound was very low though, I'm just a super sensitive sleeper. There are pads for RVs behind the hotel too which is awesome. not much shade cover / privacy, but nice.
Great spot to park your semi truck and trailer in front of the hotel. Everyone was pleasant. Located next door to a clinic and near family dollar if you need something. Mrs. Peterson delivered a wonderful delicious warm breakfast. (Gluten free options available)
The young lady at the front desk when we arrived to check in was a delightful friendly girl and so accommodating. The room was spotless, and a really nice oasis of a facility in a town that was pretty rough and tumble. We enjoyed our stay and headed on Hwy 2 to east entrance of Glacier next morning where no reservations are required (east entrance at Saint Mary).
Great staff!!!! Clean rooms, great breakfast, weight room to keep your muscles up and a pool to relax. Can't beat it!
Rooms were very clean. Handwritten welcome on the notepad and freshly baked cookies at registration were a nice touch. Morning breakfast was great.
While the town of Shelby was not much to speak of (although in fairness, we did not eat in town due to some Monday night closures) the hotel was a great find- clean, friendly, specially baked fresh cookies (choc chip macaroons!) and a breakfast that was closely monitored and freshened up by the staff! Stay here!
Perfect for an overnight stay between East Glacier National Park and the Great Falls airport. Really nice front desk receptionists, clean pool and hot tub, and a good hot breakfast with very helpful attendants. The parking lot is a bit rough, but that’s not a big deal.
